Program:  Recovery Services

Responsibilities:  The Engagement Specialist is responsible for re-engaging clients/families who have missed appointments and have not attended group on a consistent basis.  Duties include but are not limited to: engaging clients and families via phone, mail and individual sessions; facilitating a motivational group for clients that need help in re-engaging in treatment; empowering families to overcome challenges that keep them from clinical appointments; maintaining case records and completing all forms within the Agency guidelines and deadlines; and completing and submitting progress notes within 48 hours of providing the services.

Requirements:  BA in Human Services.   One year of experience in the Substance Abuse and or Mental Health Field preferred. Experience working with individuals with chemical addictions. Experience working with a diverse population.  Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills needed. Valid driver’s license required.  Position will require some evening hours.
