Professional Clinician, PT/PROS

Part-time, 28 hours per week, benefits eligible

Monday – Thursday

Thursdays 11am – 7:30pm

Program:  PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services)

Responsibilities:  This is a direct treatment and group work position addressing the mental health needs of consumers recovering from a serious mental illness within the context of a PROS program. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining a caseload, developing a person-centered and recovery oriented planning with each client, providing individual and group recovery strategies and services, documenting direct and collateral services and interventions in a timely manner and within OMH documentation timeframes; completing timely and accurate reports, facilitating and leading recovery oriented groups, and providing supportive collateral services as needed.

Requirements:  Professional master’s degree in mental health field, designated by the NYS Office of Mental Health, e.g. licensed mental health practitioner. Experience working with individuals with mental illness in a vocational rehabilitation desirable. Experience working with diverse populations preferred.     Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills needed. Valid driver’s license required.
