1 monthly meeting at MHA from 6:45-8:15pm

Program:  Families and Friends of Victims of Suicide

Responsibilities:  Address the mental health needs of family and friends recovering from the loss of a loved one to suicide one weekday evening a month. Facilitate support groups, follow-up with phone calls, maintain records of those who attend the meeting and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:  Masters degree in Mental Health field or equivalent. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills needed.  Experience working with individuals and groups who were grieving preferred. Experience working with a diverse population.
