Tuesday – Saturday, 3pm – 11pm
Program: Bernstein House (Garnerville, NY)
Responsibilities: Provide supervision and support to adults recovering from mental illness. Specific duties include but are not limited to: filling-in for the Program Coordinator in his/her absence; assisting in the supervision of Residence Counselors; assisting with staff meetings and case conferences; complying with program practices and procedures, attending meetings or events as directed; maintaining an effective working relationship with other community agencies, organizations, groups and/or individuals; ordering inventory and supplies; ensuring accurately and timely completion of all documentation; and completing MHA or state sponsored In-Service Training Programs.
Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Human Services or related field with 1 year experience as a Residence Counselor in a comparable program or AA degree in Human Services or related field with 3 years’ experience as above or High School Diploma with 5 years related experience. Experience working with diverse populations recovering from mental illness preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word. Valid Driver’s license.
