Program: Recovery Services
Responsibilities: Provide support to individuals who are struggling with opioid use and having difficulty becoming engaged in treatment. This will include but is not limited to making referrals, meeting with individuals in the community, accompanying individuals to appointments (e.g. medical or treatment appointments, self-help meetings, etc.), and providing Narcan training. Provide referrals to referents (e.g. medical personnel, law enforcement) and to family members and significant others. Share with individual’s personal recovery information as appropriate to role model and inspire hope. Assist individuals in planning next steps. Maintain records of all contacts and complete all required paperwork.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. CRPA or CRPA-P certification. Good organizational, writing and engagement skills required. Self-identify as a person who has first-hand experience with substance disorder issues and/or related behavioral health challenges. Be able to use this lived experience to support individuals in their recovery. Experience working with a diverse population preferred. Valid driver’s license
