Program: Residential Services/Supported Housing
20 hours/week; mostly evenings and weekends; flexible schedule
Responsibilities: Responsible for performing duties associated with an independent living program. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: interviewing applicants to determine if they meet program criteria; providing information about available community services; assisting with tenancy and housing issues; developing and carrying out a support plan with recipient; providing supportive counseling; maintaining required records; assisting recipient in attaining Federal Section 8 or other subsidies; and meeting with treatment providers and families.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field and 1 year experience working with adults who have a mental illness or an Associate’s Degree in a health or human services field with 3 years experience working with adults who have a mental illness or a High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years experience working with adults who have a mental illness. Experience working with diverse populations in residential settings. Must be able to work independently. Valid driver’s license. Must have access to a vehicle and willingness to use for agency business. COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
