Program: PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services)
Full time with benefits, 35 hrs/week

Responsibilities: This is a direct treatment and group work position addressing the mental health needs of consumers recovering from a serious mental illness within the context of a PROS program. Specific responsibilities include performing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, maintaining a caseload, providing pre-placement job training and support groups, facilitating vocational development services within the CRS and IR components; completing timely and accurate reports, contacting and meeting with community employers, providing supportive collateral services as needed, complying with OMH and program requirements, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements: Clinician: Professional master’s degree in mental health field, designated by the NYS Office of Mental Health, e.g., licensed mental health practitioner. Group Worker: Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field.
Recipients of mental health services who personally navigated the mental health system preferred. Personal lived experience with mental illness a plus. Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness on psychiatric, co-occurring, and vocational rehabilitation goals preferred. Ability to facilitate groups and teach job-readiness strategies, recovery strategies and relapse prevention skills. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills; and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills needed. Experience working with a diverse population preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license.
