Professional Clinician, PROS, full-time

Title:                    Professional Clinician, PROS
35 hours/week

Responsibilities: This is a direct treatment and group work position addressing the mental health needs of   consumers recovering from a serious mental illness within the context of a PROS program.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: provide culturally sensitive direct clinical and community services; maintain a caseload of up to 30 individuals; identify case management and Social Determinants of Health needs of clients and coordinate with other agencies; perform crisis intervention as necessary;  participate in program development and training programs; conduct  comprehensive assessments; involve families and social support in the  consumer’s treatment with the team when requested; provide a blend of individual and group treatment services including engagement, problem- solving, wellness self-management, medication support, family support and treatment, individual mental health, relapse prevention, harm reduction, trauma work and substance use counseling based on evidenced based treatment approaches; facilitate group therapy sessions to support individuals; responsible for the group curriculum; participate in a weekend alert list coverage rotation approximately once every 2 months; document client progress; participate in team meetings and treatment planning review meetings; use individual client data to inform clinical decision-making and identify areas for quality improvement and track client progress over time; share client data with clients to help facilitate shared decision-making; other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Master’s degree in mental health field, e.g., social work, psychology, mental health counseling, etc. Experience working with individuals with mental illness preferred. Experience working with diverse populations preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).  Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills needed.  Valid driver’s license required.
