If you or someone you know has lost a loved one to suicide, you are welcome to call and see if this group can be of assistance.
Losing someone to suicide is unlike any other loss and for many people seeking group support, a dedicated program is much more comfortable than a general bereavement group.
The SOS group is led by a mental health professional experienced in helping people heal from traumatic experiences.
When: First Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
This group currently meets in person. In the event of COVID-19 restrictions or weather-related concerns, the group will meet virtually and a Zoom link will be provided.
Where: Mental Health Association
140 Route 303, Room 132
Valley Cottage, NY 10989
For your convenience, please park on the right hand side of the building and enter through the PROS entrance, Suite I. Meetings are held in room 132.
